Linda Lee has loved fabric for as long as she can remember, so it’s no surprise that she has spent her career working in fashion and interior design. She is the owner of The Sewing Workshop Pattern Collection, where adventurous sewers can find patterns for distinctive garments created with innovative techniques. She has written numerous sewing books and contributed articles to magazines including Threads, Sew News and Stitch. She has also been the sewing expert for segments on the HGTV programs “Today at Home” and “Our Home.”<\/p>\n

Melissa Fehr<\/strong><\/p>\n

Melissa Fehr is the founder of the pattern company FehrTrade, with more than 10 years’ experience sewing activewear. An avid runner, Melissa has completed seven marathons wearing self-sewn gear. She has served as a pattern writer for the TV series “The Great British Sewing Bee,” and has been featured in numerous publications, including Love Sewing, Seamwork, Sew Now and Threads magazine. Melissa’s first book, “Sew Your Own Activewear” includes 13 activewear patterns for men and women.<\/p>\n

Beverly Johnson<\/strong><\/p>\n

After years of sewing her own dance costumes and swimwear, Beverly Johnson began teaching bra making in 1995. She has shared her immense knowledge of techniques for sewing bras, swimwear and intimate apparel ever since. Beverly is the owner of Bra-Makers Supply, which carries specialty patterns, fabric and findings. Her books include “Make and Fit Swimwear” and two volumes of “The Bra-Maker’s Manual,” which have become textbooks in some fashion schools.<\/p>\n
