Description

This little scarflette is really a study in how lace patterns are formed. Pay close attention as you knit and note how decreases and yarnovers change the shape of the fabric — and how switching the order of yarnovers and decreases changes the fabric, too. Pin closed with a shawl pin, or sew a large button to the pointed end and pass through any convenient eyelet to close. Materials Needed

Yarn: 1 hank Lorna's Laces Shepherd Worsted (4 oz/114 g = 225 yd/205 m)
Needles: US Size 13 (9 mm), straight or circular
Other: Stitch markers, T-pins, tapestry needle, optional 7/8" (22 mm) button for closure
Gauge: 6 stitches and 12 rows = 4" (10 cm) square swatch
